This Single Malt has been bottled by the Corowa Distilling Co. but the whisky inside is a Sullivans Cove Single Malt Aged 16 Years Old Cask Number 90 Single Cask 47.2% abv. The label tells it all and we have chosen this cask out of 3 different single casks, it’s stunning. Matured in American Oak ex-bourbon barrels this whisky delivers everything you would expect from Sullivans Cove and more. Matured for the right amount of time and distilled to perfection.
There are only 189 bottles available worldwide of which could be the only ever independently bottled Sullivans Cove, labelled Sullivans Cove.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: A real freshness to the nose, grassy and floral characteristic but lots of nuttiness and it smells creamy.
Palate: You need to take a good mouthfull of this whisky and swirl it in your mouth. The sweet vanilla and freshly ground barley hit first. It’s fruity like melon and pineapple, toasted almonds and some honey.
Finish: It’s got a very nutty finish with plenty of vanilla and honey.
