When travelling back home to Scotland this is one of the single malt Scotch whiskies that we are always happy to see again. A gentle flavoursome single malt whisky.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Buttery and creamy, hint of ginger but very faint. Wintery rice pudding and soft oak.
Taste: The oak clearly follows through to the palate and then there’s smoke and dried fruits. It’s still light and creamy and a few spices to combine.
Finish: It’s a long very pleasurable finish with spice and dried fruit.
