The Fascadale series is brought to us by Adelphi and this batch 8 release sees whisky taken from a small selection of casks from the Highland Park distillery.
Maturation in Bourbon barrels and Sherry Casks have helped create a masterpiece not to be missed. limited to 1245 bottles worldwide and we probably have the last of this fine single malt remaining.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: It’s floral at first which is quite a surprise for Highland Park. It has lots of fruit and a little lemon citrus. Some chocolate finds its way to the front with fruity warm spiced poaching liquid.
Taste: Minty chocolate which leads to lemon cheescake and toffee sweetness. A waxy, sooty whisky that balances well and delivers some oak.
Finish: The finish shows plenty of fruit with salt and peat smoke.
