Jim Murray’s voted this single malt his third best whisky in the world for 2010. Amrut Fusion is a fusion of whisky made from 25% peated barley extracted from Scotland and 75% barley extracted locally from India.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Cooked porridge oats, tropical fruits, citrus and oily with a subtle smoky note.
Palate: Espresso, dark chocolate, tropical fruits, oak and peat smoke.
Finish: Orange marmalade, rich oak, sherry sweetness and bold spices.
