Maitre De Chai, which in Scotland means Malt Master or, Master of the Casks.  Is a beautiful  bottling of the elegant French Whisky.  It is a marriage of two first fill Oloroso sherry casks together…tallying up to the grand total of only 1800 bottles for the world wide market.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Lively and fruity with dried fruits and citrus.  There are light floral and polished wood notes in the background.
Taste: Round and big!  Full sweet dried apricots and sultanas with a lovely feeling of eating a chunk of 80% Coco Dark Chocolate.   This a very lively dram.
Finish:  Long and oaky.  It coated my mouth with a film of toasted vanilla with a hint of roasted cinnamon, clove and raisins.  Fabulous.
