From the Rare Old collection by Gordon & MacPhail comes a whopper of a 1972 distilled Clynelish. Making this whisky 44-45 years old!
Clynelish was built in 1819 in the small town of Brora, by the 1st Duke of Sutherland. Later a larger distillery was built next door taking the name Clynelish, whilst the original distillery took on the name Brora.
Only 267 bottles of this this precious Highland malt have been filled. Cask #R0/16/07
Official Tasting Notes
Sweet fruitcake, golden syrup and sultanas are followed by a trace of smoke.  Cracked black pepper leads to stewed fruits, cardamon and rose water accompanied by charred oak.
