This independently bottled single cask, single malt scotch whisky has been amtured for 18 years in a refill ex-sherry Butt. It was distilled in June 1997 and bottled at 48.4% in August 2015. Only 744 bottles were produced and it is part of the Old Particular range of whisky.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose resembles the sweet grist of the mash tun, green apples, lemon zest and new oak.
Palate: A fruity whisky on the palate with a little spice, poached pears and peaches with caramel sauce.
Finish: A long rich finish captures cinnamon and cloves on the palate with toasted almonds and hazelnuts.
