This independently bottled North Star single malt was the creation of an undisclosed distillery on Islay. It was aged for 12 years from September 2005 to September 2017 in a refill hogshead. Bottled at cask strength and only 132 bottles worldwide.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: The peat gives a huge kick straight away, there’s lots of vanilla and medicinal notes.
Taste: Herbal with thyme and heather, Caramel and cracked black pepper.
Finish: This one leaves a lasting smokiness and peppery spice.
