We welcome the second batch of Tomatin 1988 to Australian shores. It was originally released in 2014 and has been part of the Tomatin range for a few years.
Vatted from a combination of ex-Bourbon casks and ex-Port pipes this whisky is limited to 2500 bottles. It is aged for over 25 years and is non chill-filtered.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Freshly cooked strawberry jam, stewed apricots, pickled ginger. A wonderful mix of vanilla and oak.
Taste: Plenty of fruity flavours, vanilla sponge, peaches, apricots, honey and white pepper. A little smoke and dark chocolate.
Finish: Long finish which shows more ginger, lashings of fresh honey, even more delicious fruits and again lingering vanilla.
