Released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of independent bottling by Signatory Vintage this Highland Park was distilled on the 16th of June 1988 and left to mature in one single ex-Bourbon Hogshead barrel. It is one pair of Highland Parks bottled for this occasion and it is the older of the two.
The whisky itself shows plenty of earthy aromas with a peaty tang and floral notes. The palate is delightful and certainly a very special moment to cherish a whisky of this quality.
