This single malt, single cask whisky has been bottled by the Corowa Distilling Co. but the whisky inside is from The Tasmanian Distillery in Tasmania, better known for producing the brand Sullivans Cove.The label reads ‘The Tasmanian Distillery’ as Sullivans Cove did not want the bottler to use their registered brand on the label.
The contents was taken from barrel 91 which was distilled back in the year 2000. After being left to mature for 16 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels it was chillfiltered and bottled at 42.8% abv, cask strength. The label tells it all and we have chosen this cask out of 3 different single casks, it’s stunning. Matured for the right amount of time and distilled to perfection.

Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Lots of stewed fruits, peach, plum and apricots. Light vanilla and almonds.
Palate: It’s so smooth on the palate, a wonderful mouthfeel. Stewed fruits again, vanilla and almonds, touch of pineapple and coconut. Some chocolate powder and fresh malted barley.
Finish: Again very smooth and medium length, dries on the palate nicely with vanilla and raisin biscuits.
