The second release in The Lakes Distillery’s Whiskymaker’s Reserve series, this is a robust cask-strength whisky that has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, red wine and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Rich aromas of dried fruit, wood spice and vanilla fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, crystalised ginger and toasted oak.
